The magazine about books for book lovers, The Penguin Post is a uniquemarketing initiative from Penguin Random House South Africa (PRHSA),and a first from the publisher. PRHSA’s list of books includes everythingfrom nature and finance to cookery and children’s, in both English andAfrikaans. Keen to provide their loyal customer base with an entertainingand reliable source of author news and interviews around this diverselist, the publisher launched the magazine in 2020, when the SouthAfrican media industry met an impasse due to the Covid-19 hardlockdown.
